Rat Band!

Now I give credit where credit is due, and I would have never thought of a rat playing a peanut as a drum without the mind of my lovely girlfriend. Thank you Melissa, for that stroke of genius.

End of summer

So, summer is normally a creative doldrum for me. Add into that my 3 current jobs and you get no productivity. Fall is coming though and I should have a new arsenal of holiday stuff coming soon. Until then, you get sketches done on my iPhone. The stylus I have features a soft round tip that forces me to get out of control with my lines. More to come!

enjoyed working on this one, it was fun and prior to this I hadn't really used the

pen tool that much, and now I love the thing.

Ugly

Been busy with up-post-able work lately, so here's this!

So these are a bit different than the normal styles I work in. I drew these with a Pentel Jet Pen and a prisma color 40% warm grey. They're different in that they are ugly as hell, and I didn't actually sketch them out, I just drew them while inking, so there are all kinds of anatomy issues. But mistakes happen on the fly eh? It was a blast to do these though. They felt very fresh and fun.

I have two shirts up for voting on threadless right now. I'll post the links below.
The voting continues for 7 days and after it's all finished, they decide if they want
to print the designs and sell them online. If that happens, I get paid which is fantastic,

Zoebeck Back Cover

I did this piece as the back cover for a fantasy gaming book called Streets of Zoebeck. Unfortunately I don't have much info on the book so when it comes out I'll update with more of the information. This is an alternate version though, since the finished piece was a collaborative piece between myself and fellow artist Glenn Zimmerman. I tightened up her design with some advice from Glenn to make her fit the style of the book a little more.
